GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Service and any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to the use of KnowWell’s platform, services, or any transactions conducted through the website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
1. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
Exclusive Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms of Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore for the resolution of any disputes, except where applicable laws provide otherwise.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): A2.Before initiating any legal proceedings, parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration in Singapore, unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
International Users: 3.As KnowWell operates as a global platform, users accessing our services from outside Singapore agree that any legal claims related to KnowWell shall still be subject to Singaporean laws and the jurisdiction of Singaporean courts, unless required otherwise by the mandatory local laws of the user's country of residence.
Consumer Protection Rights: 4.Nothing in this section shall limit the rights of consumers in jurisdictions where certain consumer protection laws grant mandatory legal rights that cannot be waived.
2. Compliance with International Laws
While KnowWell is headquartered in Singapore, users must also comply with their respective local laws when using our platform.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable under the laws of a particular jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary to comply with that jurisdiction's laws, while the remaining Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
KnowWell reserves the right to modify this section to align with evolving global legal frameworks and international regulatory requirements.
By using KnowWell, you acknowledge and agree that any disputes related to your use of the platform shall be governed under Singaporean law and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts, except where explicitly prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
